The toolkit

Seven tools, built for real printing jobs

We run a bulk printing press in Borivali West and the same problems arrive every day: pages out of order, a missing index, colour pages scattered through a black-and-white document, margins that cut off text. We built these tools to fix those files before they reach the machine, and left them free for anyone to use.

Most used

Merge PDF files

Combine any number of PDFs into one document, in the order you choose.

  • Drag the files into the order you want
  • No cap on file size or number of files
  • Nothing uploads, so big merges finish in seconds

Separate the colour pages from a PDF

Find every page that actually contains colour and split it away from the black-and-white pages, so you pay colour rates only where colour exists.

  • Detects colour pages automatically
  • Gives you two files: colour and black-and-white
  • Often cuts the cost of a long report by more than half

Three of these tools do not exist on the big PDF sites

Merging and page-counting are everywhere. These three came out of daily problems on our own shop floor, and as far as we know no other free PDF site offers them.

Separate the colour pages from a PDF

Every other site can split a PDF by page number. None of them can look at a document, work out which pages actually contain colour ink, and pull those out. That is the single biggest saving on any print job: a 300-page report with 12 colour pages should not be priced as 300 colour pages.

See how it works

Merge into a book with an automatic index

A normal merge glues files end to end. This one reads your file names, builds a real table of contents at the front, and numbers the pages straight through — so a folder of chapter PDFs becomes a bound book without you typing an index by hand.

See how it works

Force a JPG to an exact KB size

Indian exam and government portals reject photos that miss their limit by a single kilobyte. General image resizers give you rough quality settings and leave you guessing. This one hits the exact pixel size and the exact file size you were told to submit.

Start here

Which tool do you need?

Find your problem in plain words and go straight to the tool that fixes it.

My colour printing bill is too high

Only a few pages really need colour. Separate the colour pages and print the rest in black and white.

My photo is too big for the exam form

The portal wants an exact size in KB. Set the JPG to an exact size.

I have 40 chapter files and need one book

Merge with an automatic index so the table of contents and page numbers are built for you.

I just need two PDFs joined together

Merge PDF files in whatever order you choose.

I need to know what printing will cost

Count the pages first, then check the price calculator.

My text gets cut off when printed

Adjust the margins and check the live preview before you send the file.

My assignment has no page numbers

Add page numbers in the position and format your college asks for.

My document is confidential

Use any tool here. Nothing is uploaded, so the file never leaves your computer.

How it works

Three steps, and no account at any point

There is no sign-up screen, no confirmation email and no upload progress bar, because there is nothing to upload.

  1. Open the tool page

Click any tool above. It loads in your browser like an ordinary web page. Nothing installs and no extension is needed.

  2. Choose your file

Pick the PDF or photo from your own computer. Your browser reads it directly from your disk, so nothing travels over the internet and there is no size cap to hit.

  3. Save the result

The tool does the work on your own machine and hands you the finished file. No watermark, no waiting in a queue, and no limit on how many times you repeat it.

The difference

Why these are not like the usual PDF websites

Most free PDF services send your document to their servers, then start counting: two files, one task an hour, a size cap, and a sign-up wall after that. Ours do the work on your own machine, so there is nothing to count.

Free plans elsewhere change often, so treat the right-hand column as what we generally see rather than a claim about any one company.

Why a printing company gives these away

Every badly prepared file costs us a reprint and costs you money. A student who separates the colour pages before ordering pays for twelve colour pages instead of three hundred. A file with a proper index comes back from binding right the first time. So the tools stay free whether or not you ever print with us.

When your file is ready, we print it: 600 DPI laser, powder toner, over 80,000 pages a day, delivered to any PIN code in India.

Questions

Common questions about the tools

Do I need to create an account or sign in?

No. There is no registration, no email address to give and no password to remember. Open the page and use the tool.

Are my files uploaded to your server?

No. Each tool runs inside your browser and reads the file from your own computer's memory. The document never travels over the internet, which is why processing is fast and why confidential papers stay confidential.

Is there a file size limit?

No. Because nothing is uploaded there is no upload cap to hit. Very large files are limited only by the memory of your own computer, so a several-hundred-megabyte merge is easier on a laptop than on a phone.

How many PDF files can I merge at once?

As many as you like. There is no free-plan cap of two or three files and no daily limit on how many times you use a tool.

Is it really free, and is there a watermark?

It is free, with no paid tier and no watermark on anything the tools produce. We are a printing company, not a software company; the tools exist so that the files we receive are print-ready.

Do the tools work on a mobile phone?

They open on a phone, and small jobs like counting pages or setting a JPG size work well. For merging large documents or building an index, a laptop or desktop gives more memory and a steadier result.

How do I resize a photo to the exact KB size an exam form wants?

Open the JPG size tool, load your photo or signature, and set the pixel dimensions and the file size the portal asks for. The tool produces a file at that exact size, so the upload is accepted instead of being rejected for being too large.

What is the difference between merging PDFs and merging with an index?

A plain merge joins your files into one document. Merging with an index also builds a table of contents at the front and numbers the pages across the whole book, which is what you need before spiral or perfect binding.

Do the tools need an internet connection to process the file?

You need the internet to open the page, but not to do the work. Once the tool has loaded, the processing happens on your own machine, so a slow or unstable connection does not slow it down and a large file does not have to be uploaded first.

Are these safe for confidential documents?

Your file is never transmitted to us or to anyone else, so there is no copy of it on a server to be stored, scanned or deleted later. That is the main reason lawyers, accountants and HR departments use these rather than an upload-based site.

Do I have to install any software or a browser extension?

No. Everything runs on the web page itself. There is nothing to download, nothing to update and nothing to uninstall afterwards.

How is this different from iLovePDF or Smallpdf?

Those are excellent, much larger services, and for common jobs they work well. The differences are that they upload your file to their servers, they cap free users on file size and on tasks per day, and they ask you to sign up beyond that. Ours have no caps because the work happens on your machine. We also have three tools they do not: separating the colour pages from a PDF, merging into a book with an automatic index, and forcing a JPG to an exact KB size.

Can I use the tools without printing anything with you?

Yes. There is no catch and nothing to buy. We are a printing company in Mumbai and we built these for our own customers, but they are open to everyone.

Which browsers do the tools work in?

Any current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. Nothing needs to be installed and no extension is required.
