4x6 Photo Cropper & 13x19 Sheet MakerCrop or fit every photo to 4×6, add a border or frame, then print 9 on one 13×19 sheet with cut marks

Add as many photos as you like. Each one gets a 4×6 box — portrait or landscape, chosen automatically. Move it over the photo and click to keep that part — or keep the whole photo with Fit whole. Add a border or one of 28 frames, then the tool lays them out on 13×19 sheets (or 12×18, A3, A4), turns photos where needed to fill the page, adds cut marks and tells you exactly where to cut. Nothing is uploaded.

In short: Nine 4×6 photos fit on one 13×19 sheet — a 3 × 3 grid of portrait photos measuring 12 × 18 inches, with half an inch left on every side for cut marks. Landscape photos are turned 90° so every space is used. Add your photos above, click on each one to choose what is kept, and press Make print sheets for a 300 DPI PDF and the exact guillotine settings.

How many photos fit on one sheet?

With no gap between photos and at least 0.2 in (5 mm) of clear edge for the printer and the cut marks:

That is why 13×19 is the sheet of choice for 4×6 prints: it holds nine, while 12×18 and A3 hold only four once the printer’s edge is allowed for.

A 4×6 print has a 2:3 shape, the same as most camera photos. Phone photos are usually 3:4, so a little is trimmed from the long side — this tool lets you choose which part.

Cutting nine 4×6 photos from a 13×19 sheet

Every sheet has the same layout, so you stack all of them and cut once. With no gap, the layout is 3 × 3 photos starting 0.5 in (12.7 mm) from each edge.

    1. Long side: four cuts

Put the top edge against the back gauge and cut at 18.5, 12.5, 6.5 and 0.5 in (469.9, 317.5, 165.1 and 12.7 mm). You get three strips.

    2. Each strip: four cuts

Put the strip’s left edge against the gauge and cut at 12.5, 8.5, 4.5 and 0.5 in (317.5, 215.9, 114.3 and 12.7 mm). Out come three photos.

    With bleed

A 1–3 mm bleed prints a little extra picture around each photo, so a cut that is slightly off never shows a white line. It costs two cuts per gap instead of one; the tool lists them all.

    Check the first sheet

Printers can shift the image by up to a millimetre. Line the blade up with the cut marks on one sheet, adjust, then cut the stack.

    Quick answers

What size is a 4×6 photo in cm?

    10.16 × 15.24 cm, sold as 10 × 15 cm. At 300 DPI that is 1200 × 1800 pixels.

How do I crop a photo to 4×6 on my phone?

Open this page in Chrome or Safari, tap Choose photos, then tap on each photo where the 4×6 box should sit. Use Full screen to drag it precisely.

Can I put landscape and portrait photos on the same sheet?

Yes. Landscape photos are turned 90° on the sheet so they fit the same spaces as portrait ones.

Will a border make the photo smaller than 4×6?

No. The border is printed inside the 4×6, so the print stays exactly 4 × 6 inches and is cut the same way.

Is 13×19 the same as A3+?

    Yes, 13 × 19 in (330 × 483 mm) is the sheet usually sold as A3+ or Super B.

    Frequently asked questions

How many 4x6 photos fit on a 13x19 sheet?

Nine, in a 3 by 3 grid of upright photos measuring 12 by 18 inches, with half an inch left on every side for the printer edge and cut marks. Landscape photos are turned 90 degrees so every space is used. A 12x18 or A3 sheet holds only four.

    Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. The cropping and the sheet layout run on JavaScript inside your browser and read the photos from your own device. Nothing is sent to our server or anyone else's.

How do I choose which part of the photo is kept?

Move the mouse over the photo and the 4x6 box follows it; click where you want it, or drag it. On a phone, tap where the box should go, or open Full screen and drag. Use + and − to zoom in for a tighter crop.

Does it detect portrait and landscape photos automatically?

Yes. A wide photo gets a landscape 4x6 box and a tall photo gets a portrait box. Use the Portrait and Landscape buttons on any photo, or All portrait and All landscape, to change it.

How do I add a border or frame to my 4x6 photos?

Under Border & frame, pick one of 28 styles - solid colour, classic white or black, golden, antique gold, silver, rose gold, bronze, walnut or oak wood, gold or black with a white mat, polaroid, double line, stitched, polka dots, rainbow, pastel, festive marigold, hearts, starry night, floral corners, film strip, vintage scalloped, neon glow, royal velvet, shadow box or rounded corners. Set the thickness from 1 to 25 mm and, for the colour frames, choose any colour.

Does the border make the photo smaller than 4x6?

No. The border is printed inside the 4x6, so every print is still exactly 4 by 6 inches and the cut positions do not change. Only the picture inside gets a little smaller, and the crop box on each photo changes shape to match.

Can I print a long or panorama photo as 4x6 without cropping it?

Yes. Press Fit whole under the photo, or fit all photos at once. The whole picture is kept and the empty space is filled with a colour you choose from the palette, any custom colour, or Auto, which matches each photo's own colours. Long photos that would lose a lot when cropped get an orange hint on the Fit whole button.

Can it fix dark, faded or dull photos?

Yes. Press Adjust under a photo and tap Auto fix: it sets the brightness, contrast and colour balance from the photo itself, and you can fine-tune brightness, contrast, colour, warmth and sharpness with sliders while watching the preview. Auto fix all photos does every photo in one click.

Can it remove dust and moire from scanned photos?

Yes. Remove dust & specks cleans small white and black spots from scans of old prints, and Remove moire softens the dot pattern you get when scanning photos printed in magazines, newspapers or books. Hold to compare shows the original.

Can it colour a black and white photo?

The tool recognises black and white photos and can give them a sepia, vintage, warm or cool tone, or turn colour photos into black and white. Full automatic colourising of black and white photos needs an AI model and is not part of this free tool.

What if I add the same photo twice by mistake?

The tool checks every photo. Exact copies - even with a different file name - and the same picture saved again at another size, such as a photo re-sent on WhatsApp, are listed together with the sharpest copy kept. You decide: delete the copies, delete them but keep the same number of prints, or keep them all.

Why are some photos turned sideways on the sheet?

So the sheet is filled. On 13x19 the nine spaces are upright, so landscape photos are turned 90 degrees to fit them. After cutting, every photo is a normal 4x6 print.

What does the gap or bleed setting do?

With no gap, photos touch and one cut separates two photos, giving the most photos per sheet. A 1 to 3 mm bleed prints a little extra picture around each photo so a slightly off cut never leaves a white line; it needs two cuts per gap. On 13x19, 1 and 2 mm bleed still fit nine 4x6 photos; 3 mm fits eight.

How do I cut all the sheets at once on a guillotine?

Every sheet uses the same layout, so stack them. The tool lists the back-gauge settings: for nine 4x6 on 13x19 with no gap, top edge to the gauge and cut at 18.5, 12.5, 6.5 and 0.5 inches, then each strip with its left edge to the gauge at 12.5, 8.5, 4.5 and 0.5 inches.

What resolution are the output files?

300 DPI. A 4x6 photo is saved as 1200 by 1800 pixels and the 13x19 PDF is at true size. Each photo shows a DPI badge so you can see if it is too small to print sharply.

Can I print more than one copy of a photo?

Yes. Type the number in the Copies box under the photo. You can also fill empty spaces on the last sheet with repeat copies.

What is in the ZIP download?

Every cropped photo as a 300 DPI JPG, the print-ready sheets PDF, and a cutting guide text file with the guillotine settings.

Can I use other photo or paper sizes?

Yes. Photo sizes 3.5x5, 4x6, 5x7, 6x8, 8x10 and 8x12 inches, on 13x19 (the default), 12x18, A3 or A4 paper. Each paper button shows how many photos fit, and the tool always picks the layout that fits the most.

    Which photo formats work?

JPG, PNG and WebP work in every modern browser. iPhone HEIC photos open in Safari; in other browsers, convert them to JPG first.

Is it free? Do I need to sign up?

It is completely free with no signup, no watermark and no limit on the number of photos or how often you use it.
