Rates below are per page for A4 documents in good condition. A page means one scanned side. The band is decided by how many pages are in the job, so one large batch always costs less per page than several small ones.

Bound books cost more per page than loose paper because each page is positioned and scanned by hand instead of being fed through the machine. If a document can be unbound, scanning it as loose paper is cheaper — and we can rebind it afterwards with spiral or perfect binding.

Worn out or torn pages are quoted separately. The rates above assume A4 pages in good enough condition to feed through an automatic scanner.

A few minutes of preparation lets more of your job run through the automatic feeder, which is where the cheap rates come from.

Remove staples and pinsAnything metal has to come out before pages can be fed through the scanner.
Put pages in orderWe scan in the order we receive. Sorting first means the PDF is right the first time.
Separate the damaged sheetsTorn or fragile pages are hand fed and quoted separately, so keep them apart from the main batch.
Send it all as one jobOne batch of 1,000 pages costs ₹1.00 per page. Five batches of 200 cost ₹2.00 per page — double.

Questions people ask before ordering

What is the cheapest document scanning rate?

₹0.70 per page for loose paper at 10,000 pages or more. ₹0.80 applies from 5,000 pages and ₹1.00 from 1,000. Smaller jobs price at the higher bands, starting at ₹8.00 per page for 1 to 20 pages.

Do you scan bound books without cutting them?

Yes. Bound books, registers and hardbound volumes are scanned without cutting the spine. Bound scanning is ₹5.00 per page for 50 to 100 pages, ₹2.50 for 101 to 999, and ₹1.50 from 1,000 pages, because each page is handled individually rather than fed through the machine.

Can you make the scanned PDF searchable?

Yes. OCR text recognition adds ₹1.00 per page and produces a PDF you can search and copy text from, which is useful for legal files, records and study notes.

What resolution do you scan at?

Anything from 96 DPI to 600 DPI. 300 DPI suits most text documents. 600 DPI is better for drawings, plates and anything with fine detail. Higher DPI means larger files.

How fast is bulk scanning?

Loose paper runs through dual duplex ADF scanners at up to 100 pages per minute, so thousands of pages are finished the same day once scanning starts. Bound books are slower because pages are handled by hand.

What file formats do I get?

PDF or JPG. Multi-page PDFs are delivered in the correct page order with proper file naming. Custom file naming is available at extra cost.

How are the scanned files delivered?

By email, Google Drive link or on a pen drive. Large jobs are usually delivered as a Drive link because the files are too big to email.

Do you scan torn or worn out pages?

Yes, but the rates on this page are for A4 documents in good condition. Worn, torn or fragile pages need hand feeding, so they are quoted separately. Send photos of a few sample pages and we will tell you the rate.

Are my documents kept confidential?

Yes. Documents are handled only by our own staff at our Borivali West facility, they are never sent to a third party, and the finished files can be password protected on request.

Do you scan A3 and larger sizes?

Yes. A3 and oversize documents such as engineering drawings and architectural plans are scanned and quoted separately from the A4 rates shown here.
