Checks how dark each page is. Dark pages are inverted, the rest are cleaned or left alone. Best for slide decks where only some slides have a black fill.

Why the text does not go blurry
Most online invert tools turn every page into a picture first. That makes text soft, files large and the words impossible to search.
When your PDF has a real text layer, this tool inverts it at PDF level: it lays a white layer over the page in “difference” blend mode, which flips every colour while the original text and drawings stay untouched underneath. The letters remain vectors, so they print at the full 600 DPI of our laser machines, stay selectable and searchable, and the file is roughly the same size as before. Only scans and images are rebuilt pixel by pixel, because turning a grey background white has to be done one pixel at a time.

A page that is already a 300 DPI scan gains nothing from a higher setting. High settings need a lot of memory, so on a phone stay at 300 DPI or below.
Why dark-background pages cannot be printed as they are
Black-and-white machines
Our black-and-white machines cannot print pages with a full background fill or reverse matter – white text on a dark fill. Invert the page first and it prints at regular bulk rates, from ₹0.50 per side.
Colour printing
Colour printing on 80 and 100 GSM is accepted on white-background files only. Clean the greys with Protect colour content ticked and your photos and charts stay exactly as they are.
Toner and cost
A black page uses many times the toner of a normal text page, prints muddy and often streaks. A white page with black text is sharper, cheaper and easier to read.
Scans with grey shadows
Phone scans carry a grey cast and a dark shadow along the spine. Printed as they are, every page looks dirty. Clean-up pushes that to white and text darkening brings faded writing back.

Will my photos and coloured charts change?
Only if you want them to. Tick Protect colour content and the tool cleans neutral greys but leaves photos, charts and coloured text exactly as they are. That is the right choice for files going to colour printing.

Why will a print shop not print my dark-background PDF?
Black-and-white laser machines cannot print pages with a full background fill or reverse matter – white text on a dark fill. The toner coverage is too heavy and the result comes out muddy. Inverting the page first turns it into ordinary black text on white paper, which prints cleanly at normal bulk rates.
Should I convert to grayscale?
Yes, if the job is being printed in black and white. Grayscale makes the file smaller and shows you what the printout will look like. Leave it off for colour jobs.
Can I process many files at once?
