- Spiral bindingA plastic coil through punched holes. Pages open completely flat and fold back on themselves, which is why it is the first choice for notes, projects, manuals and lab records. Priced purely by thickness — the number of copies makes no difference.
- Centre pinningSheets folded and pinned through the centre. The cheapest option for thin booklets under 80 pages — programmes, short guides, question papers.
- Perfect binding, soft coverPages glued to a 300 GSM laminated cover with a clean square spine. This is what a published paperback looks like, and it suits books, reports, coaching material and office documents.
- Hard binding with resinRigid board case with a resin finish. Strong and long lasting, meant for textbooks, reference books and records that stay on a shelf for years.
- Hard binding with printed coverThe same rigid board case with your own artwork printed on the outer cover. For authors, institutes and anything presented to a customer or a committee.

Above 275 sheets the book is split into parts and each part gets its own coil. That is a durability limit, not an upsell — an overloaded coil distorts and tears the punch holes.

There is no minimum for binding. We bind a single copy just as happily as a hundred. Within each band the exact rate depends on the thickness of the book — a 100 page book and a 400 page book are not the same amount of work.
Perfect and hard binding take a maximum of 250 sheets per volume, which is 500 pages printed front and back. A thicker book is split into volumes and each volume is bound separately. Our book printing price calculator works this out for you and gives an exact figure including printing and courier.

How to order
- Tell us the page count and quantity Pages in one copy, how many copies, and A4 or A5. A single copy is fine. That is enough for a rate.
- Choose the binding Not sure? Send the page count and what the book is for, and we will tell you which binding actually suits it.
- Send the PDF WhatsApp it to +91 98201 69619. Leave 8 to 12 mm clear at the binding edge so the punch or glue does not eat into your text.
- We print, bind and dispatch Photos are shared once the job is done, and the finished books are packed and couriered anywhere in India.
Preparing your file saves you money
- Leave a binding margin8 to 12 mm clear on the binding edge. Text that runs too close gets punched through on spiral or swallowed by the glue on perfect binding.
- Print front and backTwo pages on one sheet halves the thickness, which can drop you into a cheaper spiral band and cuts courier weight at the same time.
- Send one PDF, in orderWe bind in the order we receive. One correctly ordered file avoids a reprint, and reprints are the expensive mistake.
- Bind and print togetherPrinting elsewhere and bringing it here means paying two setups. Doing both in one place is cheaper and nothing gets lost between them.
Delivery time and payment terms
Perfect Binding and Hard Binding take a minimum of 7 working days. Both involve many separate processes — printing, gathering, gluing or case making, pressing, trimming and finishing — and each has to finish before the next can start. Spiral binding and centre pinning are much quicker. Please allow for this when you plan a deadline.
Payment terms: 50% advance required. Once the job is done we will share pics of the material, at that time rest payment is required, after which we will dispatch.
Binding questions people ask
What is spiral binding?
Pages are punched along one edge and bound with a plastic coil. The
document opens completely flat and the covers rotate a full 360 degrees, so it
lies open on a desk without being held.
How much does spiral binding cost?
₹30 for up to 50 sheets, which is 100 pages printed front and
back. ₹40 for 51 to 200 sheets, and ₹50 for 201 to 275 sheets. The
number of copies does not change the rate — spiral is priced by thickness
only.
Is there a minimum order for binding?
No. A single copy can be bound. There is no strict minimum page count
either — spiral binding works from around 20 pages upward. A minimum of 5
copies applies only when you want multiple copies of the same book printed
together at the bulk printing rates.
What is the maximum thickness you can bind?
One spiral coil holds up to 275 sheets, which is 550 pages front and
back. Perfect and hard binding take up to 250 sheets, or 500 pages. Anything
thicker is split into parts or volumes, each bound separately.
Why is a thick book split into two parts?
A coil or spine loaded past its capacity distorts, and the punch holes
tear under the pressure. Splitting gives a book that survives daily handling
instead of falling apart in a term.
How much margin should I leave for binding?
8 to 12 mm clear on the binding edge. Text closer than that gets
punched through on spiral binding, or disappears into the glue on perfect
binding.
Can pages be added after binding?
Not on spiral, perfect or hard binding. The coil has to be removed or
the spine cut, and the book rebound. Check the file is final before sending
it.
What is the difference between perfect binding and hard binding?
Perfect binding glues the pages to a flexible 300 GSM laminated cover
and looks like a paperback. Hard binding uses rigid board, so it stands on a shelf
and lasts far longer. Hard costs more and is worth it for a thesis, a textbook or
a record meant to be kept.
What is resin hard binding?
A rigid board case finished with resin, which gives a harder wearing
surface than ordinary cloth or paper covering. It suits textbooks, reference books
and records that get handled constantly.
Can I have my own design on the cover?
Yes. Hard binding with a printed cover carries your own artwork on the
outer case. Send the cover file with the book and we will quote it, since the price
depends on the artwork and the size.
Do you bind A5 as well as A4?
Yes, both. A5 perfect binding is cheaper than A4. Spiral binding is the
same rate for both sizes because it is priced by thickness.
Which binding is best for daily use notes?
Spiral. It opens flat, folds back on itself, takes constant handling
and costs the least of the bound options. It is what most students order.
Can bound books be couriered?
Yes. Bound books are packed and couriered anywhere in India. Courier is
charged by weight, and the calculator gives you that figure along with the
printing and binding.
Is spiral binding waterproof?
No. A plastic cover protects against handling and light spills, but the
pages will still get wet if the book is properly soaked.
Can I get printing and binding done together?
Yes, and it costs less than arranging them separately. Send the PDF and
we print, bind and dispatch as one job, so nothing is lost or damaged in between.

Scanned pages or several separate files? Use the free merge tool with automatic index to combine everything into one correctly ordered PDF before you send it. Wrong page order is the single most common reason a bound book has to be redone, and a reprint costs more than the binding did.
